I’ve made stuff since I was a kid and over time there are certain shapes and patterns that still drive me to make, thankfully, there are also changing colours, forms, materials, techniques, images, music, objects, landscapes and the many other places that makers usually draw inspiration from. I too look here, but what really inspires me to make, is how good it feels when I sit and make, even without a useful outcome, but especially when there is one...
Lately, my work starts with industry. Industry is rarely aware of its own aesthetics and it is in this lack of self consciousness that I find an honest collection of inspirations and a visual beauty that motivates me to make.
